Sarnatherm Insulation
Sarnatherm is a rigid insulation board with paper facers. Sarnatherm is installed directly on the roof deck or directly on the old roof surface prior to application of the Sarnafil membrane. The core of Sarnatherm is isocyanurate foam. The standard paper facer contains recycled materials and fiberglass-reinforcement for dimensional stability.

Sarnatherm Tapered is a rigid roof insulation board bonded to black facers. Sarnatherm is installed directly on the roof deck or directly on the old roof surface prior to application of the Sarnafil membrane. The core of Sarnatherm Tapered is isocyanurate foam. The standard paper facer contains recycled materials and is fiberglass-reinforced for dimensional stability.

Sarnatherm EPS Insulation
Sarnatherm EPS is a rigid expanded polystyrene insulation board. Sarnatherm EPS is installed directly on the substrate (depending on local code or FM requirements), over an approved thermal barrier, or directly on the existing roof surface prior to the application of the Sarnafil membrane.

Sarnatherm XPS is a rigid extruded polystyrene insulation board. Sarnatherm XPS is installed either under or over the Sika Sarnafil roofing/waterproofing membrane depending on the system design.

Sarnatherm Lightguard
Sarnatherm Lightguard is a composite latex modified concrete bonded to extruded polystyrene insulation. Sarnatherm Lightguard is installed directly on the separator sheet over the completed Sika Sarnafil roof assembly. The composite latex modified concrete layer of Sarnatherm Lightguard is 3/8 inch (10 mm) thick and bonded to 2 (51 mm) or 3 inch (76 mm) thick closed cell extruded polystyrene foam. Sarnatherm Lightguard is available in 2 ft. x 4 ft. (0.6 m x 1.2 m) panels.
Sarnatherm Heavyguard
Sarnatherm Heavyguard is a composite latex modified concrete bonded to extruded polystyrene insulation. Sarnatherm Heavyguard is installed directly on the separator sheet over the completed Sika Sarnafil roof assembly. The composite latex modified concrete layer of Sarnatherm Heavyguard is 15/16 inch (25 mm) thick and bonded to 2 (51 mm) or 3 inch (76 mm) thick closed cell extruded polystyrene foam. Sarnatherm Heavyguard is available in 2 ft. x 4 ft. (0.6 m x 1.2 m) panels.
