Ballasted Roof System
In Sika Sarnafil’s stone or paver ballasted system, the Sarnafil roof membrane is loose-laid on a recover board or other acceptable substitutes. Smooth and clean stone or pavers are then placed on top of the Sarnafil membrane.
Sarnatherm Lightguard / Heavyguard
Sarnatherm Lightguard (LG) and Heavyguard (HG) are extruded polystyrene insulation boards with a modified concrete top surface. Sarnatherm LG & HG are used in protected membrane roof systems (PMRS) or “upside down” roof systems where the roof membrane is installed underneath the insulation instead of on top.
